Caleb Williams, the highly celebrated USC quarterback, has officially declared his intent to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

Williams took to social media to share his decision, stating, "I'm excited for the future, and I am officially declaring for the NFL Draft."

Williams, a standout player, leaves behind a remarkable college legacy.

The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner amassed over 10,000 passing yards in his three-season college career.

Despite USC's challenging 2023 season, marked by a 7-5 campaign, Williams demonstrated his prowess with 3,633 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Notably, he also rushed for 11 TD's.

The 22-year-old, originally from D.C., began his college journey at Oklahoma in 2021, quickly rising to prominence by leading a dramatic comeback victory against Texas in his freshman year.

Following his transfer to USC in 2022 under Coach Lincoln Riley, Williams flourished, guiding the Trojans to an 11-3 record with impressive stats of 4,537 passing yards, 42 TDs, and only five interceptions.

Chicago Bears to take Williams first in the NFL Draft?

Despite the challenges faced during the 2023 season, Williams remains a coveted prospect for the upcoming NFL Draft.

His arm talent, athleticism, and creativity position him as a potential franchise quarterback.

Caleb Williams currently ranks as the No. 2 player in CBS Sports' 2024 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings, trailing behind Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

However, all three CBS Sports NFL Draft experts unanimously place Williams as the consensus No. 1 pick in their latest mock drafts.

As the Chicago Bears hold the coveted first overall pick in the 2024 draft, speculation arises about the potential selection of Caleb Williams.

The Washington Commanders hold the second pick, and the New England Patriots are set to pick third.
