Derrick Henry to the Baltimore Ravens? Running back drops potential hint towards next team
Ask any Tennessee Titans fan to name their favorite player from the last half-decade and Derrick Henry will surely be the answer for nine out of 10 of them.
Over eight seasons, Henry delivered countless highlight-reel moments, made four Pro Bowls and led Tennessee to the AFC Championship game in 2020. But all great things must come to an end, and Henry's time in Tennessee looks to be over following his contract running out and head coach Mike Vrabel being fired.
Derrick Henry, future Baltimore Ravens player?
Henry will surely have plenty of suitors, and a team that was mentioned this year as a mid-season trade destination for Henry could very well be the main one. Could the Baltimore Ravens be the ideal landing spot?
While appearing on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast, Henry and former Titans tackle Taylor Lewan spoke about the atmosphere at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore during their Divisional Round win over the one-seed Ravens a few years ago.
Henry mentions getting "chills" from the atmosphere: "It was crazy, I was like 'oh s**t'".
There's a lot that goes into a veteran free agent signing, but Henry speaking so highly of the Ravens crowd and the organization always looking for running back help could make this a match made in heaven.
