Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons' brothers rail on Cowboys fans, want them traded ASAP
The aftermath of the Dallas Cowboys' first round playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers has not been pretty. No one has been safe from criticism: from Mike McCarthy to Dak Prescott to Micah Parsons.
Warranted or not, the criticism has begun to rub many people the wrong way, including family members of the players.
Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons' families are sick of Cowboys fans
Tad Prescott, Dak's brother, took to Twitter on Saturday to address his discontent with Cowboys fans.
Surprisingly, he had nothing but great things to say about the organization itself. His beef is squarely with "so called fans".
Meanwhile, Parsons' brother Terrence went on a social media rant on Friday, defending Micah and calling out the fans as well. And he added a shot to the organization, too.
Terrence called fans "fake" and "clueless" in an avalanche of posts. More concerningly, he hints at a possible exit for Micah.
Parsons is under contract for one more season and the team can pick up his fifth-year option this offseason, but the star pass-rusher is due for a massive extension and he can choose to hold out before the season; a strategy that has worked for other top defenders in recent times.
Prescott, on the other hand, has one more year left on his deal but will count a whopping $59 million against the cap in 2024 if the contract is left untouched. It's expected that Jerry Jones will sign Prescott to a new deal.
But what if both Prescott and Parsons opt to leave this offseason? Now that would be a sight to behold.
