Luka Doncic drops 50, reaches 10K points and asks Phoenix "whose house?"
Luka Doncic scored 50 points in the Dallas Mavericks win over the Phoenix Suns (128-114) on Christmas. The Mavs guard also made history by hitting 10,000 career points in only 358 games (7th fastest of all-time). He has also bested the Lakers' LeBron James in the milestone, knocking him back to 10th of all-time.
After hitting a three-pointer just feet shy of the Suns logo he ran back and asked the Phoenix crowd: "Whose house?!"
Doncic is in full 'beast mode', coming off of a 39-point triple-double in San Antonio in his last game on Sunday. The Slovenian guard is already making his case for MVP contention just months into the 2023-24 NBA season.

Luka Doncic had the last laugh over Devin Booker
Suns star Devin Booker and Doncic hold one of the NBA's biggest rivalries, and it was certainly the latter that had the last laugh.
After the game, Booker was asked if things were going downhill for the Suns: "No. We have to get it together. And that's on me, that's on coach, that's on KD, Eric, all the leaders we have in here to make sure that we're more prepared when we come to play."
In one of the most surreal moments of the night, Booker was clearly overheard yelling at his teammates for not running back to their basket after a turnover: "Why aren't you running back? Just gonna turn the ball over and not run back?"
