Boxing legends gush over Cristiano Ronaldo at Fury vs Ngannou Champions Gala
Every chance Cristiano Ronaldo gets to enjoy a good combat sports event, he takes the opportunity if the venue is close to where he currently lives. Saudi Arabia has become Ronaldo's home and this mega boxing fight in Riyadh has given him another chance to be one of the event's biggest VIPs. Although there may be many great names amoongst the guest list, Cristiano Ronaldo has to be amongst the stars who shine the brightest. On Friday, the Champions Gala event took place in Riyadh just hours before the Heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. Everybody is ready for this show and some of the biggest names in sports are in attendance. Top Rank Boxing published a video where Cristiano Ronaldo is arriving at the gala.
Aside from Ronaldo, boxing legends pose for historic picture
With Cristiano Ronaldo as a separate attraction, the most impressive display was when a multitude of the biggest athletes in combat sports were asked to pose for a mega picture. Getting to recognize all the names of the people who posed for that image is only for a select few who are experts in combat sports. But the names we managed to recognize are the entire Fury family, Dmitry Bivol, Manny Pacquiao, Mike Tyson, Israel Adesanya, Chuck Liddell, Lenox Lewis, Teddy Atlas, Oscar de la Hoya, Bob Arum, Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, Francis Ngannou, and Cristiano Ronaldo in the back of the picture stands out above the rest.
In a mixture of boxing and MMA legelds, Cristiano Ronaldo stands as the only footballer in this picture. It's also important to note he seemed overwhelmed by simply being there, next to so many fellow legends of combat sports. The list of names is too long to tell who is who from this image, we encourage you to write the names of the legends you can recognize in the comment section below. Perhaps only Conor McGregor is missing from this picture because he is likely making the trip to Riyadh as we speak. However, he will be present for the main event on Saturday night. Regardless of that, Ronaldo was the one who definitely stole the show on Friday.
