Paige Spiranac's coach praises her swing: She's an incredible athlete
Paige Spiranac received good praise from golf instructor Jonathan Yarwood as he said she is as good as any pro.
Spiranac uploaded footage of her working on her swing to social media, tagging Yarwood in one of her posts.
Yarwood took to X, formerly Twitter, to described her as 'an incredible athlete', who 'can change as good as any pro'.
Yarwood posted screenshots of her swing, to help observers notice the change in form, that included stabilising her trailing leg to ensure that she maintained better upper body posture and motion before attaching a YouTube link to Spiranac describing how Yarwood has helped her.
Spiranac's career so far
Spiranac's junior career started brightly, becoming a top-20 junior golfer in the world and a first team All-American, earning her a scholarship at the University of Arizona.
In college, she represented Arizona in three events in their golf season, the Windy City Intercollegiate, the Pac-12/SEX Challenge and the Wildcat Invitational before switching to San Diego State.
In California, she finished fifth as the Cal Classic, sixth at the Mountain West Championship before later winning won the Mountain West in her senior year.
As a professional, Spiranac debuted on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, beating the then top-ranked amateur in the world before finishing ninth at the Stallion Mountain and appearing at the Scottish Open in Europe.
Spiranac briefly has an unsuccesful stint with the Ladies Professional Golfer Association in 2016.
A controversial character
Spiranac has been accused of sexualising golf in her modelling career and clothing choices, although the 30-year-old's intention was to promote anti-cyberbullying and to help women learn to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Spiranac publicly disagreed with the LPGA when they attempted to restrict clothing freedom for women competitors in 2017 such as restrictive necklines and short skirts.
Spiranac, via 'Fortune' responded suggesting that the LPGA has greater problems than the dress choice of women.
In June 2022, Spiranac was voted 'Sexiest Woman Alive' by 'Maxim' in their 2022 Hot 100 list, she became the first athlete to win the award.
