Dwyane Wade throws HOF bash, performs onstage with Lil Wayne
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday and threw a massive party later that night, which included a performance with rapper Lil Wayne.
Wade, 41, performed onstage with the hip hop icon and made sure to snap a picture with him. The three-time NBA champion called the moment a dream come true.
"A childhood dream fulfilled," Wade captioned the post.
Retired NBA star Tracy McGrady and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton were among the players to congratulate Wade on his comments section.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, meanwhile, was one of many more athletes to like the post.
Dwyane Wade HOF speech
Wade, along with Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki and Gregg Popovich, gave their HOF speeches Saturday.
"I'm on this stage because my belief has always been stronger than anyone's doubt," Wade said. "So to all the hoopers, I hope you take this to heart. Know it's never about your setbacks, it's how you respond.
"The blows you take are few, the limitations people put on you are actually inspiration. No one who comes from the community that I have has ever left a legacy worth remembering."
Wade finished the emotional speech by inviting his father to the stage to thank him for everything he did.
