Bijan Robinson shows off tantalizing skill set on first NFL carry and catch
When the Atlanta Falcons drafted Bijian Robinson 8th overall out of the University of Texas, many criticized the selection for two main reasons: the running back position has become devalued in today's NFL and Atlanta had a 1,000 yard rusher already on the roster in second-year player Tyler Allgeier.
As head coach Arthur Smith has consistently said about Robinson, they couldn't pass up on his talent and explosive big-play ability.
Making his NFL debut on Friday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, the rookie already has everyone talking after just his first touch.
Robinson didn't stop there, though. To top it all off, Robinson showed off his hands with a slick one-handed catch.
His stock keeps rising
The All-American quickly silenced whichever doubters he had left, and begins to persuade even those who believed the Falcons should have gone in a different direction with their draft pick.
This preseason performance should also solidify Robinson's high draft slot in fantasy football. His ADP currently sits at around 9th overall. We may see it jump after this game.
