Kadarius Toney takes a huge shot at Giants after Super Bowl win: 'This is for everybody in New York'

There still seems to be bad blood between Kadarius Toney and his former team, the New York Giants. Despite his 2023 move to the Kansas City Chiefs turning out spectacularly well- he won the Super Bowl last season-, it looks like the wide receiver is still holding a grudge against his team for trading him.

The Giants selected Toney in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft but then decided to trade him to the Chiefs just one year later in October 2023.

The wide receiver made his feelings for his former team known in a recent viral video. While shopping at a jewelers in Atlanta, Toney joked that he was going to get his Super Bowl ring permanently fitted to his finger.

"Aye, this for everybody in New York right here. I'm gonna go to the middle of New York with my middle finger up. I love trolling. They tried to troll me, I've got something for 'em," he said, with a wry smile, showing his middle finger to the camera.

The trade ultimately proved to be a stroke of genius: Toney played a key role in the Chief's triumphant campaign as they went on to win the Super Bowl. What's more, rumors of the player's attitude issue- which was allegedly one of the reasons he was traded in the first place-, were squashed by both fellow players and staff at the Chiefs.
