Gavi was caught "seriously insulting Vinicius to his face"
Barcelona beat Real Madrid 1-0 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, and things got a little heated for Vinicius Junior.
The Brazilian striker, who was yellow-carded for what was almost a wrestling tackle on Frenkie de Jong, angrily protested to the referee on several occasions and found himself engaged in a verbal sparring match with Gavi.
"If he fouls first, always the same, you, always the same," Vinicius Junior shouted at referee Munuera Montero at one point during the match.
At another moment of the match Gavi and Vinicius squared up to each other, and the cameras of 'Vamos' captured the Barcelona player "seriously insulting Vinicius to his face."
Vinicius responded with an ironic smile to Gavi's words.
