Tua Tagovailoa hasn't been cleared and won't play against the Bills in the playoffs
The Miami Dolphins will visit the Buffalo Bills in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs this Sunday and they won't have their franchise quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, their head coach, Mike McDaniel shared this Wednesday.
Dolphins' HC Mike McDaniel ruled out Tua Tagovailoa for Sunday's game vs. Buffalo. He still has not cleared concussion protocol.

Tua hasn't been able to clear the NFL's concussion protocol and return to football activities and rookie Skylar Thompson will start for the Dolphins as backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is still recovering from a dislocated pinky finger in his throwing hand.
Mike McDaniel doesn't know if Tua Tagovailoa will travel
Dolphins head coach, Mike McDaniel doesn't know if Tua Tagovailoa is going to be able to travel with his teammates to Buffalo to take on the Bills, and even though he hasn't had any setbacks, McDaniel said there's "compunding variables" that are keeping him away from the field indefinitely.
The Dolphins head coach wouldn't speculate about Tua's long term health or if this head injuries could affect the quarterback's career.

Skylar Thompson will get his third career start and first ever in the playoffs, after this last weekend he managed to take the team to a hard fought win against the Jets, with a 11-6 on the scoreboard.
