Salt Bae comes under fire from Jake Paul: He's disrespecting the GOATs
Boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul has publicly criticized Turkish chef and celebrity personality Salt Bae for his involvement at the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
The chef made his way onto the pitch at the end of the match between Argentina and France and did all that he could to pose with various players for his social media content, including Lionel Messi, who was seen shrugging him off.
He was also seen kissing the trophy and lifting it in the air, something that is never normally done by anyone but the winners.
It was much to the annoyance of Paul, who spoke out against Salt Bae and his behaviour.
"This dude has been disrespecting GOATs way too long, I may have found someone who annoys me more than KSI," Paul shared on Twitter, accompanied by pictures of the chef with Messi and Mohamed Salah.
He had previously posed with the Liverpool player after he got injured and lost the 2018 Champions League final.
FIFA investigates what happened with Salt Bae
Last Thursday, FIFA announced that it would take "appropriate internal measures" for the breach of World Cup protocol by the celebrity chef, who entered the pitch at Lusail Stadium
The federation said in its statement that it had launched an investigation to identify those attending the final in Qatar who had entered the pitch without authorisation.
"Following an investigation, FIFA has established that some people illegally entered the pitch after the closing ceremony at the Lusail stadium on 18 December," FIFA said.
"Appropriate action will be taken."
