Luis Suarez is set to join the LA Galaxy after the World Cup
Luis Suarez will be one of the stars to follow at the World Cup in Qatar, with the Uruguayan national team, but once the tournament is over the striker's future will be up in the air.
His contract with Uruguayan side Nacional is set to run out in November and he is not expected to stick around.
According to RAC1, the Uruguayan striker is in advanced talks to reach an agreement with Los Angeles Galaxy for 2023, where he would share locker room with Chicharito Hernandez and Riqui Puig.
"No, we don't know yet," the forward recently stated during an interview with MARCA.
"[MLS] is one of the options that I see very close, but I'm not thinking about it now. I'm thinking and enjoying myself at Nacional."
Luis Suarez's final years
The Uruguayan striker arrived at Nacional a few months ago after finishing his contract with Atletico Madrid.
He was rumoured to be on his way to many European sides, but finally returned home to enjoy football again before the World Cup.
Now, once the World Cup in Qatar is over, he could be heading to the United States to continue his career.
Another team that has been strongly rumoured to be interested in acquiring Luis Suarez's services is Inter Miami, who have a vacant place after Gonzalo Higuain announced his retirement from professional football.
