Deschamps on the Mbappe case: There are a lot of people who think they know the truth, but they are far from it
The last few days have been a whirlwind for Kylian Mbappe, with the forward now keen to leave Paris Saint-Germain as soon as possible, again.
Mbappe is almost always in the spotlight either for his performances on the pitch, or for matters around his future.
The latest person to voice his opinion on everything that has been happening is someone who knows the player very well: Didier Deschamps.
"Kylian is Kylian, for what he does on the pitch and for what he can do off it... We talk about him a lot," Deschamps said to Canal+.
"We talk about him a lot. Is it his fault? It's not negative to say that, given what he does, it makes sense that we are talking about him.
"Then there can be positive things, negative things, a lot of interpretation as well. Unfortunately, these days, there are a lot of people who think they know the truth, but they are far from it."
Mbappe's message
The first to try to calm things down was Mbappe himself.
"All together, ready for tomorrow's game," Mbappe wrote on his social media channels.
