Floyd Mayweather responds to claims he's broke showing of wads of cash and $20 million watches
Jake Paul's claims that Floyd Mayweather is broke clearly haven't sat well with the legendary boxer. Paul alleged that 'Money Mayweather' was using lucrative exhibition matches to recover his supposedly complicated financial situation.
Paul suggested that: "Floyd Mayweather is broke. That's what a lot of people don't realize. He gets these big cheques and doesn't pay taxes on them... then the IRS comes hunting him down later. I know he owes people a lot of money".
The undefeated boxer (50-0) was quick to shut down Paul's claims in an interview with TMZ, in which he showed off his eye wateringly expensive watch collection. He told the interviewer to name a price range, and he went on to pull out watches from his collection that matched the figure. He showed off a pair of watches that amounted to around 20 million dollars.
Floyd was also recently seen in Japan, where he was splashing the cash in the Tokyo Louis Vuitton store. In a video posted online, he can be seen counting Japanese bank notes to pay for his items.
