Dodgers beat Mets and become first team in MLB to reach 90 wins
In a very entertaining game, the Los Angeles Dodgers managed to secure their 90th win this season after beating the New York Mets in a clash of the two teams with the best records in the National League.
This was the fifth game between this two division leaders, and for know the series stands at 3-2 in favor of the Californian franchise, who continue to show an impressive winning record while playing away from Los Angeles.

The Mets scored the first run of the game without even having a single out in the first inning and it came after an error by the Dodgers starting pitcher, Andrew Heaney.
Then a couple of innings later in the top of the third, the visiting team got the offense going and mounted a three-run rally, mainly thanks to Gavin Lux's two RBI single down to left field while the bases where loaded.
In the bottom of that same third inning, outfielder Starling Marte gave the Mets fans some joy back, as he placed the team on just a one run deficit in the scoreboard with a tremendous home run line to left field.
Just an inning later, Mark Canha batted his eleventh home run of the season to tie the game and bring the Mets fans at Citi Field to the edge of their seats.
This was Mark Canha's 100th HR in Major League Baseball.
But Gavin Lux had some clutch moments left in his bag for later in this game as he produced the go-ahead run with a single down the middle in the top of the 7th inning, a lead that the Dodgers bullpen would never surrender in the remainder of the game.
Clayton Kershaw is ready to make a comeback
After lots of speculation, Los Angeles Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts, confirmed that their ace Clayton Kershaw will be the team's starting pitcher on Thursday's last game of the series.
