FC Barcelona was too much competition for Inter Miami
Under Miami's starred sky, FC Barcelona's worldwide renowned football stars took care of business and annihilated Inter Miami, that tried for a few brief moments to compete, but was immensly out played and out scored by the visiting team.
During the first few minutes the fans could anticipate what was about to go down, when the Spanish side started to approach consistently with the ball under control in their opponent's penalty area.
Barcelona's new additions are looking like they're going to fit really well in Xavi's gameplan and scheme, as Franck Kessié was one of the most important player in the first 45 minutes.
How many goals did FC Barcelona score in each half?
The 'blaugrana' scored a total of 6 goals, three on each half.
First it was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored on a soft touch over the goalkeeper on the 19th minute.
Then came Raphinha, who scored his first goal wearing an FC Barcelona's jersey since joining the team on a transfer from Leeds United.
Just as it appeared that we were heading towards the locker rooms with a two goal deficit for Inter Miami, Ansu Fati finished of a great play alongside his teammates at Barcelona. A goal that has the 'cule' fans dreaming about this season's possibilities.
Xavi sends out a whole different squad for the second half
After the 15 minute break, both teams took the pitch, but for Xavi, his starting XI playing time was over and switched his entire squad to take on the second half.
Just 10 minutes later, Gavi would score a goal on a pretty genius play, taking advantage that other players weren't paying attention right before the corner kick.
Number 5 came courtesy of a superb play by Memphis Depay at the 68th minute. Depay continues to demonstrate his talent, searching for a new opportunity to compete for a spot on this season's roster.
Only three minutes later Ousmane Dembélé came flying through the right wing on a counterattack and when he approached the penalty area, he took a very strong left footer to beat the goalkeeper and set the final score.
Neville and Beckham's sons take the field
Inter Miami gave a couple of their young promising players the opportunity to face great competition, such as FC Barcelona. But two names jump out of the list, Harvey Neville and Romeo Beckham, sons of the coach and team part owner at Inter Miami, who got to experience a few minutes against FC Barcelona.
