Draft chaos caused by the Knicks
The New York Knicks have traded their 11th pick in the 2022 Draft, Ousmane Dieng, to Oklahoma City for their next three draft picks, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski advanced the information.
The New York franchise has been fighting until the last minute for Jaden Ivey, who has fallen to number 5 by Detroit Pistons, but finally they will opt to keep the young man formed at Purdue University.
As for Dieng, he is a 19-year-old forward born in France and trained with the New Zealand Breakers. This season he has averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1 assist in 20.4 minutes.
Duran's arrival to the NBA was very busy
Twitter madness after Jalen Duran was drafted as the 13th pick in the NBA draft, as after he was announced with Charlotte Hornets he unexpectedly switched teams.
Rookie Jalen Duren barely lasted a few minutes as a Hornets player, as moments after greeting commissioner Adam Silver, his name has been part of a three-way trade between the Charlotte franchise, New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons.
The Pistons receive rookie Duren and veteran Kemba Walker in the deal. For their part, the Knicks continue to free up salary with the goal of signing Jalen Brunson in free agency; and the Hornets get the first round of the 2025 Draft that the Pistons received via Milwaukee in the trade for Jerami Grant.
