Mbappe stars in PSG comeback victory over Saint-Etienne
Paris Saint-Germain added another three points to their Ligue 1 title push, although they had to come from behind to eventually win 3-1 over Saint-Etienne.
Denis Bouanga stunned the Parc des Princes early on as, after Danilo Pereira gave the ball away, the Saint-Etienne man drilled a low effort past Gianluigi Donnarumma. But, PSG quickly regained their composure and went on to swat their opponents aside.
It was Lionel Messi who set up Kylian Mbappe for PSG's first two goals, one either side of half time. The first came as Messi found his strike partner with a typically brilliant pass, before the Frenchman fired through Paul Bernardoni, who should have done better. Then, after passing through the dressing rooms, Messi set up Mbappe again, with the striker this time giving Bernardoni no chance to make the save.
Mbappe then turned provider, setting up Danilo for PSG's third goal with an outside-of-the-boot pass, allowing the Portuguese midfielder to make amends for his earlier error.
Messi could have had a goal of his own late on, as Neymar cut it back for him, but the Argentine dragged his effort wide.
In the end, it didn't matter as the leaders won 3-1 to mean they are 14 points ahead of second-placed Nice.
