NBA Players with Covid-19: Full list team by team
The number of NBA players who are unavailable to their teams because they have entered the COVID-19 protocol that the NBA stipulated at the beginning of the season has been increasing recently.
Outbreaks at the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets - with five players affected each - have set off alarm bells in the NBA.
The league is seeing the virus spread among athletes despite having 97% of players vaccinated and many staff members on booster doses.
Masai Ujiri, president of the Toronto Raptors, and Rick Carlisle, head coach of the Indiana Pacers, recently announced a positive COVID-19 test.
As a result, both franchises have decided to cancel their respective group workouts for the day. And will conduct diagnostic tests on all staff to determine the extent of the outbreak on their teams.
Bulls, Hornets, Raptors and Pacers are not the only teams hit by the pandemic.
The Bucks have three players on protocols. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Donte DiVicenzo and Wes Matthews have not been able to return to the court with Milwaukee and will have to serve their lockout period.
