LeBron James in NBA's COVID-19 list, out vs. Kings and more games
The bad news continues for the Los Angeles Lakers as they will now have to face the Sacramento Kings without LeBron James this Tuesday because he entered the list of health and safety protocols of the NBA.
The Lakers seem to be struggling this season, because of injuries and suspensions of his star player.
LeBron could miss up to 10 days
In the information given by the Lakers and Mike Trudell it is said that James is on the health list in which players enter when testing positive for COVID-19, being in contact with a positive person or having broken the health guidelines. It is not known which of these cases LeBron James falls into.
NBA rules with positive COVID-19 cases, is that the player must be out at least 10 days or give two negative PCR tests within 24 hours to return. LeBron James announced he was vaccinated.
However, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the "King" will miss multiple games.
A very complicated season for LeBron
The season has not been easy for LeBron James who has missed 11 of 22 games this season between injuries and a suspension for his altercation with Isaiah Stewart that sidelined him for a game last week and a financial penalty.
LeBron's presence for tonight's game was already an unknown because he had an abdomen injury and could even miss Sunday's game against the Pistons, but was active without a problem.
The Lakers are 11-11 on the season, seventh in the Western Conference. James is averaging 25.8 points 5.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
The Lakers are 4-7 without his franchise player this season.
What's next?
The games LeBron James could miss if he were to be out the 10 days indicated in the protocol would be the following: @ Sacramento Kings (November 30), vs. Los Angeles Clippers (December 3), vs. Boston Celtics (December 7), @ Memphis Grizzlies (December 9).
