Haaland's mysterious message: My next six months will be my best six months

Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland has once again thrown fuel onto the fire of his future by performing another cryptic gesture.

First, the Norwegian first did a lap of his club's stadium in their last Bundesliga home game of 2021 on December 15, tapping his heart and appearing to suggest it was a farewell gesture.

And now in an Instagram story, Haaland posted a cryptic message.

"My next six months will be my best six months," it read.

It stood alongside two pictures of the 21-year-old emerging from a tunnel up to the pitch.

Does this mean Haaland is on his way in January?

According to German publication Bild, Dortmund have reportedly asked Haaland to tell them as soon as possible if he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.

They are said to have given the 21-year-old until the end of February to reply.

Europe's big clubs - including Real Madrid and Barcelona - continue to hover with interest.
