Denvin Booker out with left hamstring injury and did not return in Suns-Warriors game
Phoenix Suns star shooting guard Devin Booker injured his left hamstring in the second quarter of his team's game against the Golden State Warriors Tuesday and did not return to the game.
Booker was injured while attacking the rim as the teams were about to go into halftime and immediately touched his left leg, was subbed out and it was announced on the TNT broadcast that he would not return.
He missed the second half against the Warriors
It is not yet known how long Booker, who was the key player in the active streak of 16 consecutive wins that has the Suns with the second-best record in the Western Conference and the entire NBA behind only the Warriors, will miss.
The two-time NBA All-Star left the game having scored 10 points with two rebounds and one assist.
Booker has become one of the best players in the entire NBA and was, along with Chris Paul and DeAndre Ayton, the leaders that led the Phoenix Suns to last season's Western Conference crown and loss in the NBA Finals to the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks.
