Rams with same interceptions on two possessions as they have all season

The Los Angeles Rams got off to a nightmarish start in the first quarter of the NFL's Week 10 Monday Night Football game at the home of the San Francisco 49ers.

They stole the show from Odell Beckham Jr.

The Rams had the first possession of the game and from the first play looked for their new toy, connecting with Odell Beckham Jr. on Matthew Stafford's five-yard touchdown pass.

However, only four plays later, Stafford again looked for "OBJ" this time it was long and the lack of coaching between the two was noticed a communication failure generated that the former Detroit Lions quarterback's pass was intercepted by Jimmie Ward.

San Francisco ate more than 11 minutes

If that wasn't enough, the interception was taken advantage of by the 49ers, who ate more than 11 minutes off the clock with 18 plays and scored a touchdown on an eight-yard Jimmy Garoppolo pass to tight end George Kittle.

Los Angeles' attempted response blew up in their face, because on the next offensive series, another Stafford pass was intercepted and this time Ward himself intercepted it and even more, returned it 27 yards to the end zone.

Matthew Stafford and the Rams had two interceptions so far this season and in the first two series of the first quarter of Week 10, he matched his career high in interceptions.
