More scandals in the NFL keep happening as former Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested with three pounds of marijuana and guns in his Corvette. The incident happened in Leon County, Florida earlier on Saturday. The NFL veteran was pulled over by the cops when his Chevy Corvette tags weren't assigned and that's when trouble started looming for him. Even though marijuana is legal in many states, but Florida isn't one of them as we are talking about a predominantly red state. As soon as the Florida Highway Patrol officer caught the strong smell emanating from Bradham's car, he began a search of the vehicle.

Inside the car, cops found 3.4 pounds of marijuana, two handguns and 10 smaller bags that are believed to be used for distribution of the narcotic. FHP Master Cpl. Patricia Jefferson-Shaw reported the incident to the press after the mugshots of Bradham were taken. Also, the written report states that one of the pistols was reported stolen in the state of Missouri. Bradham could've avoided the drug possession charges if he had a medical marijuana card on him but it wasn't the case. TMZ also reports that Bradham's name also didn't show up in the state's registry for medical marijuana license bearers.

What are Bradham's charges?

According to Florida State law, Nigel Bradham has been charged of possession marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, use of firearm and possession of over 20 grams of marijuana. Three felonies that can bring severe consequences to the 32-year-old former NFL star. After the incident, Bradham posted $1,000 bond on Sunday and was released from the Leon County Detention Center in Tallahassee, Florida. This is also not the first time Bradham gets in legal trouble after getting arrested in 2016 on a misdemeanor concealed weapns charge. That time, a loaded gun was found in his backpack at Miami International Airport. While playing with the Philadelphia Eagles, Nigel Bradham won the 2018 Super Bowl after beating the New England Patriots 41-33. He retired while playing for the Denver Broncos in 2020.
