Giannis feasted in Lakers' final game without LeBron
Giannis Antetokounmpo took advantage of the last game of LeBron James' absence to overwhelm the Los Angeles Lakers' defense and lead his team, the Milwaukee Bucks to a 109-102 victory at home.
It was the best game of the season for the "Greek Freak" who could not be stopped throughout the game by the Lakers' defense, in the end he scored an impressive 47 points, in addition to nine rebounds and three assists.
Giannis was especially impressive hitting three of the four three-point shots he attempted and, overall, connected on 18 of his 23 attempts for a percentage of 78.3%.
The return of Khris Middleton
This game marked the return to the backcourt of star Greek forward, Khris Middleton, who had missed the previous eight games due to being on the COVID-19 list.
Middleton scored 13 points, in addition to five rebounds and six assists, he looked out of rhythm and could only hit four of the 12 shots he attempted from the field.
However,, Middleton made two three-pointers during the game, bringing his total to 1,051 in his time with Miwaukee, tying the all-time franchise record held by Ray Allen.
LeBron practiced at 100%
For his part, LeBron James was practicing mid-range shots with contact before starting the duel, however, he watched the actions from the bench for the last time, since all reports indicate that he will return next Friday when the Lakers visit their historic rival, the Boston Celtics.
The Lakers' scoring leader was surprisingly Talen Horton-Tucker, who had a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Anthony Davis registered 18 units, while Russell Westbrok contributed 19.
