Footage of Neymar partying in Sao Paulo before missing Argentina match with injury
Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar was spotted partying last the weekend in Sao Paulo ahead of Brazil's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Argentina on Tuesday.
The Brazilian international was forced to sit out the duel due to an adductor injury, one which didn't prevent him from going out.
Following the game with Lionel Messi's side, the Brazilian sports show 'Os donos da bola' released images of Neymar's night out in Sao Paulo, with the presenter lamenting the PSG forward's attitude.
"With adductor pain you can play," said Neto.
"With muscle pain you can play.
"With a metatarsal problem you can play. I broke mine, and it is possible to play.
"But, anyone who has a pain in the adductor or muscle pain doesn't dance like that."
Neymar against his critics
It was just three weeks ago when Neymar hit out at those who have been criticising his life off the pitch without focusing on his actual performance on it.
"I speak of respect because people say 'Ah, Neymar doesn't take care of himself, Neymar is this, Neymar is that,'" he said in an interview with the YouTube channel Fuir Clear.
"How can you be at the top for 12 years without taking care of yourself? Nobody gets that.
"I know how to take care of myself. I have a physio and a fitness coach with me practically 24 hours a day. What for, for no reason?
"I go out when I can. I go out when possible, when I know that I will not have training the next day. I'm not going to stop doing anything. What's the problem?
"You have to criticise me for what I do on the pitch. There I allow you to speak. But not for what I do off it."
