Curry goes off in the fourth quarter to help Warriors beat the Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers wanted a piece of Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors on their visit to Cleveland this Thursday. We all remember those unforgettable finals both teams played back when LeBron James was still playing for his hometown team. But times have drastically changed recently with Ricky Rubio leading the Cavs to a moderately acceptable season thus far. Tonight's NBA game was arguably one of the most entertaining to watch out of the six games happening throughout the country. The Spanish point guard played beautiful basketball this evening that was also quite inconsequential.

Contrary to what Steph Curry did during the second half of the game, he had 20 points at the start of the final quarter with a modest performance until that moment. But you know Steph and his moments of genius this season. He eventually decided to go off during the fourth quarter by managing to score an incredible 20 points that granted his team yet another important victory. For the Cavs, Darius Garland was the highest scorer with 25 points but the Warriors' defense led by Draymond Green was too much for him and the rest of the local team.

What's next for Warriors and Cavs?

After tonight's latest victory, the Golden State Warriors are facing the Pistons in Detroit in the afternoon. They will attempt to elevate their game even further and go for that 14-3 record if they get the win. Cleveland has gone through a rough last couple of games and do deserve some rest. A three-day hiatus that won't see them return until Monday, when they host the Brooklyn Nets. Right now, the Cavs are still with a positive record but nearly balanced at 9-8 in the season so far. They sure need to bounce back when they play Durant and company next week.
