Brady and the Bucs brutally dominate Giants on MNF
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took advantage of Daniel Jones' mistakes and Tom Brady's hits to stop a streak of two consecutive losses and defeat the New York Giants by a score of 30-10 on Monday Night Football corresponding to week 11 of the NFL.
Competitive first half
Brady started in rhythm from the first offensive series, opening the scoreboard with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Chris Goodwin.
The "G-Men" responded immediately and got close thanks to a 37-yard field goal by Graham Gano, however, on a very long 18-play offensive series, Tampa Bay regained its seven-point lead with a 25-yard field goal by Ryan Succop.
Brady's only mistake of the game came right after when his pass bounced off the hands of Mike Evans and the rebound was caught by Adoree Jackon and after that interception, New York tied the game with a two-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Jones to reported eligible offensive lineman Andrew Thomas.
But Tampa Bay reacted immediately and Ronald Jones gave them back the lead with a six-yard touchdown carry with which the game went to halftime with a 17-10 score.
TB's absolute dominance in the second half
The second half was completely dominated by the defending NFL champions, who maintained their undefeated record by intercepting Daniel Jones twice and capitalizing on those mistakes with offensive points.
In the third quarter, Brady caught his second touchdown pass of the night, this one of five yards to Mike Evans and Succop made his second field goal of the game, this one of 40 yards.
The scoring was capped by Succop's third touchdown, this one from 30 yards.
Tom Brady reached 154 touchdown passes in his 40 (he's 44) which is more than in the entire career of both Roger Staubach and Terry Bradshaw. He finished the game completing 30 of 46 passes for 307 yards.
