Bale injured once again
Gareth Bale made his 100th senior international appearance for Wales in the win over Belarus, but has been ruled out of the crunch clash with Belgium on Tuesday due to yet another injury.
The Real Madrid forward started in the 5-1 win over Belarus on Saturday, but could only manage 45 minutes after feeling a knock to his calf, and was substituted at the break.
From that point on, it was clear that Bale would struggle to face Belgium on Tuesday, and it has now been confirmed to Real Madrid by the Welsh medical staff that he will not be able to take part in any form.
Real Madrid will run tests on Bale when he returns to the Spanish capital to find out the exact extent of the calf injury.
In any case, it is certainly bad news for the player, who had not featured for Real Madrid since August 28 against Real Betis.
Carlo Ancelotti had stated in a press conference in the week before the international break that he was happy that Bale was called up by Wales, claiming that match practice would assist Real Madrid.
However, that has turned out not to be the case as Los Blancos, having waited since August to see him back in the team, will now have to be without their forward once again.
