Solskjaer forced Cristiano Ronaldo to applaud Manchester United fans after Leicester defeat
Manchester United suffered another poor result on Saturday, losing 4-2 away at Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
It was also a bad day on an individual level for Cristiano Ronaldo, who barely made an impact in the encounter.
On the full time whistle, the forward reportedly headed for the tunnel but was urged to applaud the fans by his coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 36-year-old did similar after the 1-1 home draw to Everton earlier this month, and the Norwegian wanted to make it clear to Ronaldo that respect for the fans is of utmost importance, regardless of the result.
According to the Express, with Cristiano Ronaldo heading straight for the tunnel after the 4-2 defeat Solskjaer forced the Portuguese to applaud the travelling supporters.
United now have a tricky run of fixtures that will have a massive impact on their season yet, it appears that their problems aren't only on the field, with Solskjaer and Ronaldo's relationship under serious question.
