Conor McGregor shares his solution for Manchester United's problems

Ole Gunner Solskjaer is under serious pressure at Manchester United following the Red Devils' humiliating 5-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday. The Norwegian is still in charge of the club and could remain in the dugout for next weekend's trip to Tottenham, but many want him replaced and Conor McGregor is one of them.

While the UFC star doesn't want Solskjaer to be completely fired by Manchester United, he thinks a change is required.

"The issue at United is it's just bunch of young fellas talking to each other, peers," McGregor wrote on Twitter.

"You need someone above the group chat to take the helm. Ole was on the bench when Ronaldo played. A peer. Not enough.

"Love and respect Ole to the max, but his role needs rearranged. My opinion."

When fans replied to the Irishman, he went on to clarify his view.

"Never Ole out you silly fool," McGregor wrote in response to one fan.

"Ole is forever United! His role simply needs to be readjusted."

There are others who share McGregor's opinion on Manchester United, with many believing that Solskjaer has a role to play at Old Trafford. The problem is that he might not be able to fix the issues from the dugout.

Conor McGregor and Khabib's Manchester United connection

While Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov may not have too much in common, they have both been in the headlines of late for their comments on Manchester United.

McGregor's solution this week follows the Russian's discussion with Alex Ferguson a few weeks ago after Cristiano Ronaldo didn't start in the draw with Everton. The former coach commented "you've got to start your best players" in his talk with the UFC star and this created some controversy at Old Trafford, with it seem as a criticism of Solskjaer's rotation policy.
