Boxing: Victory against Daniel Jacobs! Canelo Alvarez remains the king of middleweight

The Mexican boxing star Saul "Canelo" Alvarez won the IBF title by a unanimous points victory against the American Daniel Jacobs. Previously, Alvarez was already in possession of the belts of the associations WBC and WBA. Alvarez was ahead of all three judges, two times 115: 113 and one time 116: 112.

Alvarez, who is currently one of the biggest stars in the boxing scene, dominated the early rounds in the duel with Daniel Jacobs. But the American came ever better in the fight and presented the Mexican with his sometimes unorthodox fighting style before problems. But at the end of the fight Alvarez convinced again with the clearer goals.

"It was a wonderful fight, just the one we expected, we did our job, I was variable in punches and combinations," said the winner, who already has the next goal in mind. Alvarez wants title number four, hoping for a title fight against WBO champion Demetrius Andrade (USA), who is still undefeated in 27 matches.
