Sebastien Ogier wins the Monte Carlo Rally again

Sebastien Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia win a memorable Monte Carlo rally and beat Thierry Neuville in the tense final. Ott Tänak takes third place ahead of Sebastien Loeb.

What do Walter Röhrl and Sebastien Ogier have in common? Only they managed to win the Rally Monte Carlo with four different vehicle brands. The record of the German ex-world champion is set, because Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia can prevail in the Citroën C3 WRC against the competition.

The duo had to prove their nerves, because a problem with the gas pedal bothered them on the last day and brought persecutor Thierry Neuville dangerously close again. Before the last test, the gap was only four tenths. But Ogier showed again his extra class and was able to fend off the attack from Belgium successfully.
